Looks like the ones Dave Mercer made with a Jubilee mech in late 70's

What comes to mind is;

1/ The escalator is missing which is an indication that it is a reproduction
2/ The gap between the reels is large, so not a Watling mechanism
3/ The handle is a dagger type from a Mills
4/ The wood base looks old but not like a Watling base
5/ There appears to be nothing behind the gold award window

The image is not clear so I can't tell if the front casting is a reproduction. The engravings on the repro bird of paradise castings are not so detailed / sharp. The mint vendor castings were not typically used on the reproductions so may in fact be genuine. Shame that there are no internal pics of the mechanism. As to the wood cabinet, without seeing the sides it is hard to tell.

bikerjrn!
Where abouts are you located as the Dave Mercer I knew was in Lake Tahoe Area, Tahoe City to be specific as to his shop/store in the Cobblestone Mall!
Lived in Dollar Point when I knew him!
Passed away in late 80's or early 90's, don't remember exactly when!
Bought a lot of his parts after he passed away from his wife!
He had an original Polk Figure, a Miner in his Living Room that his wife wouldn't sell, wonder whatever happened to it!
One of the "Old Crew" back in the day, Dave Mercer, Jim Brockelsby, Elmer Eberhard, John Kehlet, Etc.
The North Lake Tahoe and Incline Village group!
The Good Old Days of vintage slot machines!
Where are you as our paths may have crossed back then!
Ciao!

I am sure this has been posted here before but I didn't search for it but here is a Rol-A-Top that was used in a TV show from the 50's Twilight Zone!
This one here without the escalator reminded me of it!
Enjoy!
Just hit skip ad and it should go right into it, kinda neat to see the casino photos too!

Jim!
I worked at Del Webb's Sahara casino in the mid 60's after it was built and then went across the street and worked for Barney O'Malia at Barney's Joint and also for Dick Chartrand as well when he had the South Tahoe Nugget with Milos "Sharkey" Begovich!
Damn, I miss The Good Old Days! LOL
You probably knew "The Boys" at Nevada Novelty as well in Reno/Sparks and Phil Anderson at Ace Distributing, a route operator back in the day!
Looking forward to speaking with you!
Ciao!

Regarding "The Fever Episode"
To the left of the Rolatop is a caille multi bell.
I also saw some mills hightops, and the black cherries.
I looked for this episode the last time sci-fi channel ran a marathon, but they did not air it.
