ANOTHER FAKE SLOT MACHINE LISTED FOR SALE ON EBAY

Postby Midcoast Vintage » Mon Jul 21, 2014 10:43 am

Another fake golden nugget listed for sale on ebay.
Notice there is no pump, and, no center wood block below the sub-base.
Seller states he has owned the machine for 30+ years, which would mean he got it in 1984 or earlier... does anyone remember just when TOM NOEL made those extended handles?
THIS MACHINE NEVER SAW THE INSIDE OF THE GOLDEN NUGGET CASINO, and WAS NOT PRODUCED BY MILLS NOVELTY IN IT'S CURRENT CONFIGURATION.
BUYER BEWARE!

I lived a couple miles from him and I was at Tom's house several times in 1977-79.
I think I remember him telling me about the extended handles, but I was restoring a QT and wasn't interested in that, so I could be mistaken.

It would be interesting to know for sure;
I know he was profiled in either the Coin Slot or Loose Change, maybe both.
Somebody on this forum recently mentioned they bought the complete set of Loose Change on CDs.
Perhaps they could search for "Tom Noel" and find an accurate answer.
