5 cent Little Duke

Postby MacPatrick » Fri Nov 27, 2015 9:06 pm

I seen this slot on eBay re-listed multiple times. Before I do something stupid I thought I would get some input from more experienced collectors. The fact that its been re-listed multiple times is usually a flag for me for one reason or another.

Is this a bad machine? from my readings I can see many of you might be able to tell from the pictures if the machine is one that should be walked away from.

I know it needs some work, winter months are coming and I'm looking for something to keep me busy indoors.

Any input would be appreciated.

Machine is too rough to keep it as it is.

Therefore it needs to be restored.

The market on Little Dukes is really soft right now.

The last several that have sold at VCA have hammered at around $1,200. Go to http://www.AntiqueSlotMachinePriceGuide.com to check for yourself.

This machine has the small coin head (least desirable). It is a nickel Little Duke which are hard to find but I don't think that adds more than a couple of hundred to the price.

What is with all the tape on the handle? I wonder if it broken and taped up.

I think the reason it hasn't sold is that it is priced way above the current market.
