Alright fellas. Something just does not jive with the partially BS story in the sellers description.
I do agree that this appears to be a totally original, and unmolested machine, but .....................?????

Yes, very interesting story of the three machines being purchased new in 1945, then having only 5 months of play, and
4 months later, being wrapped up, and placed in the attic, because of the changes in the laws, only to be discovered in
the attic, by the owners son, in 2006, and now the current owner/seller, just unwrapped the 50c machine this week.

Amazing! Now how do you suppose this 50c machine, that has been wrapped in plastic since 1945, or even early 1946,
managed to get a 1949 operators license pasted on the side of the case? Apparently, sometime in the middle of the night,
in 1949, the 'ghost-of-Christmas-past', swiped it from the attic, and placed it on location, in some legal location, for it to
receive this sticker. Then after a short while, returned it to the attic, and carefully wrapped it back up, so nobody would
ever know it left! And why in the short lifespan of play, would someone have removed the coin overflow casting-half, at
the top of the coin tube? Funny thing is.........I needed that same casting a few years ago, and one finally turned up, and
I purchased it. Maybe that same ghost unwrapped the machine a second time, to rob it for me? Thank you Mr. Ghost! :P

Lol the devil is in the details!! Good eye.
Looking for survivor machines especially vendor fronts or original side vendors with or without
a machine. 1920's-30's goosenecks, round escalators. I enjoy hand painting the castings.

I saw these slots when he first posted them, like many of you. then I looked at his other items for sale , & at once knew who I was dealing with. he's been using the same old photos for a long time selling the Reel strips , in e-bay & out side of it.

I deal in vintage military items & " have since I was born" (my father collected / minor dealer). The B.S. stories you here on Every item is unreal !!! "So this is MacArthur' favorite violin ????, marked made in china year 2000 ????"
you buy the item , Never the story ! Now ,you have good documentation to back up a story, now that's a Different story.

Well, maybe the new owner is ,or will be a member of this forum...... if so , let's get better photos first before, trashing the machine & the story.

Reel strips are also not the correct color. They should be gold.

The wood should also be painted gold.

Here is the YT video of my machine.

He is a mortgage broker in Boethel Washington northwest pacific funding or something like that. He makes reel strips and award cards too pretty nice stuff. I bought a machine from him off fleabay and it was ugly but is now one of my best machines. The ad I bought from had a typo in it and he did refund me a reasonable amount for it.

I'm not defending him just telling you all what I know first hand. Just because he tells a story about a machine does not make him a dubious charactor. He could be a dolt that had more money than brains and bought a lot of slot machines and could be repeating what he was told.

just my 2 cents worth. Someone maybe excited to get that machine at least buyer not reading this thread lol.

I went to his reel strip website. He is trying to sell a bogus Golden Nugget as all original and a 1930 War Eagle as all original which has the incorrect handle for an early War Eagle.

Another machine on this seller's website is the nickel Rol-A-Top with penny gumball vender. He had run this on eBay a while back. One of the Watling specialists on the blog may confirm that this could be an all original special order. At the time, I had asked the seller for more detail and received no answers. Perhaps good strips and cards but seller seems to lean toward , let us say, creativity in his original machine descriptions.
