Reproduction "Pace Baseball"

Postby cpdretired » Mon Oct 23, 2006 4:41 pm

The sellers title for listing follows. "This is a Pace 1 cent trade stimulator". Igtmachines is a regular but I would assume that he would know who created the machine along with hundreds of Whizballs. I have nothing against selling reproduction machines as long as that is stated.

In the past I have sold Whizballs on eBay. In every one of my autions I cleary stated that this is a new reproduction machine. I never identifed the Whizball as a Pace Whizball.

Have you sent him a note telling him that he is selling a reproduction?

Why would he keep the bidders eBay ID's private? Maybe to prevent someone to contact the bidder to let them know it's a reproduction.

Someone really got screwed on this machine. It should have sold for $250.00 at the most. Auction closed at $405.00. If IGTMACHINES is a member of the forum I hope your proud of yourself for identifying this as a Pace made machine. Made in India would be correct.

Thanks for the heads up on this seller =D> . If he has anything I am interested in I will know to be very cautious.

Pace Baseball

There was a guy out at the Chicagoland show selling these machines
3 for $500. about 2 years ago { New IN Box }

But anyway Any person that puts Private on the Ebay bidder list
doesn't want the winner to contacted for some reason or another
I believe Ebay should do more to stop this !

by Ebay letting the sellers Use Private on the bidder list
They are helping some of the sellers push reproduction and Fakes
for a higher price.
