I spotted this slot on ebay and I'm thinking about bidding on it. Can anyone give me any more information on it or have an idea of what it might be worth? Thanks. Tom 200066029209

Tom:

These "wall machines" are foreign machines. Typically German. Therefore, don't expect it to work with US coins unless it has been converted.

I bought a wall machine in a garage sale years ago. The guy was asking $500, I offered him $5 and he took it  . I didn't even know what I was buying but I figured for 5 bucks, what the hell.

The machine you are looking at appears to be in nicer shape than the one I bought.

It took me a while but I finally got it working, had to have a friend come over who understood german so she could translate the instructions on it.

These things usually run on 240 volts so you might need a transformer to get the thing to work.

I just looked at the listing a little closer. That machine is quite a bit older than the one I bought. It does not appear to require electricity which is probably a good thing.

Looking at the 5 cent sticker I wonder if it has been converted to take US coins.
