Looks like a machine with a pretty good restoration.

It appears to even have an original back door lock.

Interesting to see what it brings.

Just an informational heads up to anyone interested in bidding on this Watling Rol-A-Top on ebay. There are a few issues not mentioned in the write up on ebay. I drove approximately 375 miles to personally look at this Rol-A-Top and it sure is nice to see something in person than rely on pictures. The sides of the cabinet must be new wood to look like they do both inside and out. Very nice but not original/restored. The reel strips show mint labels and this is not a vendor machine. I played and the payouts were off every time. Zero on one double cherry hit and 6 on an orange/orange/mint bar hit which the award card shows 9 to 11. There is a crack in the front casting as you look at it from the playing position which is alongside of the jackpot bulge as it protrudes from the casting. The crack is about 3 inches long and is visible from the inside and out and light from a flashlight shows easily through. Other than that a nice looking machine.

Another item I observed that when pulling the handle the entire mech wobbled under the tension of the arm moving. Not just a little but maybe a half inch to the right when looking at the escalator. Adjusting one of the bottom lock arms on the right side when looking at the open back helped but obviously the mech was not sitting flat on the bottom plate in the first place.
