Postby marrtin33 » Thu Oct 24, 2013 10:47 am

Hello,nice to meet you,Im spanish,Canary island.
I am writing you in order to ask you for information.
I have a slot machine which had my grand-father in his hotel since the beginning of the 40s, at least. In fact, I am not sure if the machine was bought by my grand-father or perhaps by his father instead. I only know that the machine was always there and the hotel was already opened when my father was born, in 1944.
In the carcase there is a serial number: 267229. And its says Mills Novelty Co Chicago 1910.
I would like to know the model and its building date.thank you.

This is a OK MODEL or a OPERATORS BELL with skill stops made in the mid 1920s but the serial number says its a 1931 machune.

Thanks for the information. It has been very interesting for me.
Could you tell me if all the pieces are originall? And in which colour was it painted at the beginning or it was only nickel or chromed?
How much would be its value nowadays?

Thank you for your help again and I am looking forward to hearing from you soon,
Regards,
Martin
