Any Info on: Trade Vendor Roto-Lette ?

Hello Coin Op Collectors!

We have a fun looking Trade Vendor Roto-Lette machine and can't seem to find any historical information or images of it online. Have any of you seen one of these before? Or have any advice where else we should look to find info?

The tag says.
Manufactured by Bally exclusively for Roto Distributing, Las Vegas, Nevada.

It's a 25 cent machine with 3 coin slots and three roulette wheels with 3 slots for tickets to come out of at the bottom.
It's a wood case and stands about 6 feet tall.

Thanks in advance for any help or info! :D

CaliGurl:
I have seen this machine before, but did not find out anything about it at the time.
A little more info may help the search. If there is any paper glued, or tags stapled
inside the case, it may have a mfr. date. Also, what is the serial number, on the
front plate? Bill
BTW - Those coin entries were used on other Bally machines as well.
Just how many, I dunt know! #-o

Thanks for the replies.
Unfortunately there is no additional info in the box :(
The number on the front tag is 1165.

Here's a few pictures of the messy innards.

So I guess its kinda like the pull tabs where certain numbers in the bundle pay and others dont. They figure a percentage and place that book in the dispenser. Hell we didnt need to go that far in the Moose and Elks and Eagles, we just sold the tickets straight out and the bartender took care of the winners. God I loved those days... Would really like to see pics of the mech here the disks rotate with the motors.

Hi All,

While digging around on the internet, i discovered that the Clark County Heritage Museum in Henderson, NV had a machine that looked similar to this roto-lette of mine. . I sent an inquiry out to the museum to see if they had any more info on it. This is the reply i receiced:

"We do still have the machine in question in the museum collection, but have not found much on its manufacturer. We do know that they were used in the El Rancho Vegas in 1949, and that they were a post-World War II design."

Here is the nugget i found that led me to the Heritage Museum:

Thanks :D
