What do you think about this mills black cherry?

I just got this slot machine. I bought looks original to me, but wanted some expert advice.

The casting is totaly in aluminum

Wich is the original color of the side panel? black?

And the strips? White or grey?

Looks original to me except the paint as I remember is a hammerd finish gray and the wood cabinet is black. Shame to cover the beutiful red oak wood, but that is what they did. The award bib has lost its coating but looks well anyway.

This machine sat in a damp basement for almost 50 years, so I had to strip and glue the cabinet, only cleaned the rest of it. You will notice the coin entry has a lot of wear and although it is difficult to see the award bib shows signs of a good many dimes dropping onto the surface.

the strips would have been grey. Looks like a foreign coin machine judging from the size of the payout slides. Those don't look like quarter slides.

Yes, and now those quarter slides now have dimes in them according to the coin entry. #-o
