The Columbia slot machine introduced around 1938, a mechanical marvel, although the materials used in the manufacturing process were not as robust as used in the big 5. These light weight rather small machines brought in huge profits to the operators. The posted pictures are intended for the enjoyment of all you un-real collectors out there. As I have been informed only a few "REAL" collectors exist.

Very nice! The variations in the Columbia slot are interesting.

I believe the first machine pictured is properly called the Columbia DeLuxe Club Bell, coming out in 1947.(Coin Slot Guide 19).
The earlier Columbia Club from 1940 had different cabinet design. (Collector's Treasury of Antique Slots, page 258).

I don't get it; what's a "real" collector?
