hello every one;
photo of my "1933" mills extraordinary next to my 1958 mills four 7777 crown . I had heard the reason the 4 crown didn't sell well , is because it looked to much like the "old" extraordinary.
there's a 3 reel version also (three 777 crown), which is rarer than this 4 crown. found one for sale but, overall condition was horrible.
since most have never seen the four crown , here it is.
sorry for the bad lighting.....

If you do a search on the internet ,you find a few photos ( 3 or 4) only, & nothing else. really didn't sell well when new.
Mine doesn't light up yet, all of that was removed long ago. a bit hard to find today but, on the other hand , no one seems to care either. So "rare" doesn't = $$$$.
have an ad for each machine (3 crown & 4 crown) , once I locate them will post them here.
always looking for additional information on these, if you have it.

i am sure they did this model with front castings with
both the crown embossing between coin entry and the
denominator and also without the crown embossed too.
also coin demoninator badge hole is larger/smaller too
so unless the x2 front castings were intended to be
different for the x3 versus x4 reeler model options
then it would seem strange to bother with casting
change on a poor selling machine, unless someone
thought it would make all the difference or a casino
wanted the change to order any as an exclusive run.
also seen them with the extended cup and cig holder
bolt on addition at the front of the payout tray too.
i have a x4 reeler here in UK but lighting is 110v US
great machines all lit up, be they polished or plated
castings.
edit, found some pix on my pc now

Madmelons;
nice to hear from you. please post a photo of yours if you can. you are correct in that there's 2 slightly different castings of the upper section. but , since no one seems to know much about them , no clue why.
I was told these were exported out side of the U.S. & sold well But, still hard to find any images period. then the few found out side the U.S. are U.S. used machines ,all with U.S. coin play denominations on them.
better photo from outside.

partial 3 crown add (as I found it).
The one 3 crown I found for sale was in Denmark , 25 cent play , all beat up & with non mills parts, ect.,ect. if it was for free, not worth restoring.
