What you have is one of three versions of Mills Compact open front machines. This version is the earliest and should have BELL-O-MATIC embossed on the top of the cabinet. The next version was the M-head. The coin head looked like the letter M with denomination button on the right. The cabinet was embossed with just the MILLS name. The final version was made for casino ships. The coin head was the same used on coinop kiddie rides mounted on the old M-head base. Used almost exclusively on casino boats, they had nothing embossed in the cabinet top. None of the compacts had jackpots. The last version had a front double lock cash box which also had the money bowl attached to.
