JENNINGS CAT / WITCH ON LIVE AUCTION

Postby mechanic » Sun Apr 02, 2017 2:50 pm

Heads up on this one !!!! It is a cobble job. The cat and witch listed is not real. This is a put together job, made up of a Firman revamp using the full size cabinet as on all Victoria model B and on. No serial number shown, and the back door is a very late model stamped steel door, not the cast aluminum that should be on it. The est. of $6,000-$8,000 is way out of line. Don't get caught up in this one. Never seen an original 25C either and I've worked on several over the years all 5C.

I also sent them an email and they were gracious.

They thanked me for the information and updated the listing as well as the estimate.

Dave:
I got a nice reply from them as well, thanking me, and stating that they had changed the listing.
It sure does help, when more than one person sends a message. Usually it's a 'Hard-Head', that
tells you to "mind your own business". I recently got a similar answer, from a clown with a yellow
"Golden Magget". Two photos only. One closeup of the upper front, and a dark fuzzy shot of the
mechanism. I could tell exactly what it was, just from his two cruddy pics. He was upset that I
was calling his machine a FAKE. Guess I was the only one that rattled his cage?

As a group , we should go after slots on e-bay, listed wrong , fakes, export machines, ect.
someone point it out & 3 or 4 of us make similar comments on it to the seller.
now on items on C.L. or ect. ???? still wouldn't hurt.

currently found a 1950's high top but the mechanics look to be a goose neck !
And wants $1,300.00 for it. has the bill of sale for A & P slots who screwed his father on this.
I asked for photos of the mechanics OUT of the cabinet. I want to know how they made the escalator hand off coins to the mechanics.
his father passed away ,he got it , & only see $$$$ signs , has no interest in it.
