on the first pic you can zoom on the coin entry... I can read $0,1C .... :D

I haven't payed that much attention to the coin-chute castings, but the ones I did, seemed to have
the same casting numbers. I would venture to say that the same chute was used for all denominations,
except for the 50c & 1d series.

Yes, very unusual Apple symbols. My guess, only on an export model?
Would like to see front view of entire machine, with Apples in window.
Also need the coinage and serial number.
Thanks, Bill

Pete:
You may be in luck, by being able to use a 1c coin-head. Someone has reproduced these in the past,
but I do not remember who it was. Our Forum member (mechanic) may know who it was. Hopefully
he will chime-in. :D Or perhaps Stephane knows, if that is a recast in his photo?

Stephane:
Would like to see a front shot of the disc bundle, out of the case, on your 1franc, with
the 'happy face', 'saturn', etc. Also need the serial number.

Is your 50c a U.S. version, or a 1d? It will, of coarse be determined by the payouts. As
on all 1d standard slots, the payouts will start shorting coins after the first two-pay,
when playing with 50c.
Need the serial number for this one as well.
Thanks, Bill

I smelled my name being mentioned so I checked some old records and found Tom Krahl had made some repro coin heads for lil Dukes. What denom they were I do not know. There is a pic of the ones he did in his last catalog item 216. I will do some more checking to see who he used to get them made. Jim

For info , Here is a coin-chute from a little duke in 5ç ( from my data base again , not mine) , we can read "5ç" on it .

Hi,
The Little Duke was the brainchild of E.C Bignell who was the Jennings distributor in France in the early 1930's, Bignell was a British distributor but moved to France after World War I. in a copy of one of the coin machine journal's of the time, it was reported that he gave the idea for the Little Duke to Jennings.
