Payline alignment

Postby edgeCity » Wed Feb 28, 2018 10:01 pm

Looking to purchase a Sega Diamond Star slot.
( https://www.ebay.com/itm/Sega-Diamond-A ... 1438.l2649 )
Operates and pays out correctly . . .
. . . however, symbol on third (rightmost) reel doesn't line up with
symbols on the first two reels :

Is this an easy fix?
Thanks!

Hi,
I also had this issue. Oldslotman and others helped me solve it. You can find the post here. http://coinopcollectorforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=5409

It could be that just the reel strips are off and not the disc. You can just move the reels strips to center it if the disc all line up.

I was thinking the same thing, but one of the interior shots indicates that the 3rd reel payout wheel is a little off in the same direction...

Thanks, all. The Sega should be delivered on Monday afternoon, so I'll know!

So, here's a foto of the Sega's payout wheels, showing the 3rd one out of alignment with the other two:

Anyway, I took the reel bundle out and apart, per oldslotman's post from Jan 2017. Here's a foto of the star wheel on the 3rd reel:

Not sure what to adjust to bring the third payout wheel back into alignment!

Thanks,

Hi
Don t try to adjust the 3rd, but just adjust the first and the second one .
On your first photo , the 3rd symbol seem to be at the good place , but not the two others !

I agree. that reel looks good. The other two look out of line.

Yikes! How can you tell that it's the first and second, and not the third, that's out of line??

Is the stop lever seated in the notches on all three reel disc. It is the lever that holds the disc in place so they don't move prior to the reels being kicked.
