Obituary Date is 1993.
So I guess they were in business in some capacity til 1991.
It said he was a consultant for willow until 2 years prior to his death.
I was able to reach his son.
He referred me to a local slot guy in MD that delt with Auto Bell machines.
Ill post when I get new info.
Thanks again for the help.

Great sleuthing, ThunderChief!
Very interested to hear what you find out -- good luck!

Check out this foto of the more common Mills "MHead" from the Sixties.
Looks like the cash drawer might fit your slot . . .

The Thunderchief model has always fascinated me, but I figured they were extinct.
Where did you come by yours?
Happy Easter.

Auto Bell was always based in Chicago, they made various electric upright models later in the 1960's, Willow was only a local operator/distributor, Auto Bell had these small distributors around the states, including Mickey Anderson Amusement Co, in P.A. who was one of the major distributors at the time. My late father used to come from England to Maryland to buy games in the mid 1960's, Baltimore was a deep sea port so we could ship the games out of Maryland legally.

Hello Freddy!
Hope all is well, been a while since we spoke!
Funny you should post that particular Sales Flyer as I currently have in my shop in excellent condition, but dusty! LOL, A Circus Days Gaming Console that looks very similar in cabinet design to what you have pictured here!
Were they made by the same company?
I have always assumed by its style that it was probably for the European or Carnival style market!
Any thoughts?
I miss calling Bill W. with these kinds of questions!

Edge City

Thanks for the info on the M Head
I do think that cash drawer will work.
The Mills part number is 9900-csp.
Now where in the world can I find one?

AngloBritish

Thanks for the info.
Thats a verry cool story and old ads.

Monti

Very cool Circus Days machine. I think there is one on Ebay just like it for sale now. Any advice on who I can call about a cash drawer similar to the one on the Mills M Head?

Thanks again

Sorry Thunder Chief!
Even though I just bought out an old route operators warehouse in Sparks, Ace Gaming Devices, this last year in all the stuff I got there was no drawers but I did find one metal cabinet base that I made a rotating slot mech work station out of also using a base plate from a Baldecchi open front cabinet!
But there was no drawer for it!
Sorry!
Bona Fortuna!

Thanks for all the help and info.
It appears that finding a cash drawer is almost impossible.
So im probably gonna sell the Thunder Chief.
What would be a fair price to ask?
Where can I sell it online other than ebay?

. . . hard to say. Does it play and pay as it should? Do the lights work? Are the reel strips decent?
The mech might fit into an old HiTop, I'm not sure.

There's a couple of MHeads on eBay priced under $1000, and they ain't selling. You might do better parting it out.

You could start with CraigsList -- free and easy to use. I've found several slots on there.

Where are you located, anyway?
