I am offering up some interesting history from 1960s Las Vegas.
My grandma and grandpa were gamblers and after my grandpa retired they traveled to Las Vegas once a year to indulge their passion. They always brought me back lots of interesting swag. One of the most interesting items were post cards that featured actual black and white photographs of them on the floor of the casino. These were handed out to visitors so they would mail them to friends and family and entice the folks back home to come join the action. Slots of that era are prominently featured on each card.
I have seven post cards; six from the Nevada Club, one from Diamond Jim's. They are dated 1960, '61 and '62.
$5 each plus actual postage. Cash or check. U.S. sales only.
Thanks!
