1935 SUPERIOR CONFECTION GUM VENDER RESTORED

Postby drsmlojo1 » Mon Mar 01, 2021 12:42 pm

Good morning coin-op collectors!! I'm listing FOR SALE an Antique 1935 ONE CENT SUPERIOR CONFECTION GUM VENDER TRADE STIMULATOR. I acquired it years ago and it's been in my personal collection ever since. It is in EXCELLENT RESTORED CONDITION. It plays very well, dispenses gumballs and comes with all locks and keys. These countertop beauties gave one play for a penny, dispensed a gumball and winning combinations were paid off by the owner/operator. I'm a 40+ year collector of gambling coin-ops- ever since antique slots became legal in California. I'm located in Southern California area or the Bullhead City, Arizona area if that helps. CASH AND CARRY PRICE IS $600 CASH. I could arrange shipping tp other areas but would prefer local pick-up. Professional packing and fully insured shipping would be $75. My cell phone is (909) 630-3450.

How did you acquire this machine and can you take a picture or two of the serial number.
Thanks

I don't see a serial number anywhere. I'm sending 3 more photos. There is BG 52 inside the upper casting, but this is probably a part no, not a serial no. Inside right side wood case is an inspection tag that was preserved by whoever restored. Hope this helps!!

Er... there is a serial number right on the inspection tag, in picture one.

Sure, that's obvious, but no serial no on castings anywhere or etched into the wood case, just on that inspection tag.

If the machine has the original base the serial number would also be on the lower front right base C????
The paper tag on the inside is better than not having it.
I asked how you got the machine just for history that's all.
Do you know the history ?
In the future I will post a picture of a Superior Confections gumball machine under Superior Confections it is all original and it has the green paint.
Thank
