Bally 1981 door lock

Good morning
I have to restore my first slot machine
It's a 1982 bally (I think)
on the side there is a label with the writing E series
and a stamped date 10 1 82.
My first problem is opening the door which is locked.
Unfortunately the lock has previously been ruined by trying to drill it and I can't try with a lock pick.
Can anyone suggest me the best strategy?
If I act sideways cutting with a disc can I get a result? If so where should I cut?
I can't find a video or internal photos to understand where I need to cut.

Just keep drilling it and work your way up with a bigger drill bit,,,,it will fall apart and then you can replace it with a new lock

I did what you said , it was a little difficult but at the end now the door is open and i can start with the restoration.
