Just joined the forum, so noob here. I work in electronics, but I have never dealt with slot machines before. I recently acquired a Bally E2242-63 slot machine. It would work after a little messing with when I first got it. Now I cannot proceed after the first spin.
I can power it up and reset the machine so it accepts coins. However, when I spin, all three reels spin, stop, and then it just sits there. No error codes. The Insert Coin light remains off and will not accept coins until after I reset the machine. The LCD displays 1000 after the first spin. Nothing else happens.
I'm hoping someone here can point me in a direction for troubleshooting. I do have a service manual with schematics, so the helps, at least. I just would like a place to start checking.
