Mills jackpot removal

Postby TJF » Sat Feb 10, 2024 1:03 pm

Hello,

This is a Mills Castle Front machine. I need to replace the jackpot glass. I presume I need to remove the jackpot mech to do this. What's the easiest way to get it out?

Thank you!

Take the front casting off. When you replace the jackpot there is one lever that has to be in the correct position for the jackpot reserve to work.

I managed to get it out, and I'm guessing the lever you refer to is what's referenced here in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dA8QUP2T57E

However, mine appears to have a piece broken off. (to be clear, I'm referring to the vertical part in the background of the circle where it appears something cracked off) What is this part, how necessary is it, and can I get just this piece? :-(. Also, that spring on the right appears to be two springs connected together. I'm guessing that's not right either.

Thanks
