Jennings Chief Govenor jackpot pay assy issues

Postby HenkdeJ » Sun May 10, 2026 11:26 am

Sorry members back again,

Hopeful as my first problem was advised and solved in a day.

My stupidity:
I forgot to make pictures of the jackpot mechanics as it was "only 3 screws", easy it can't go wrong I thought.
Took the jackpot out for the real assy and now putting back is confusing me. Is anybody around with experience putting back a jackpot/pay assy and which levers must connect with what in the slotmachine. It fits but the vertical spring is running croocked now. Looks strange and no clue what the cause is.
Posted some pictures.

Also how can I check or operate the jackpot pay assy to check if it pays or not, aka if all levers are in the right position.

My take is to tension the machine for 50% so I can turn the reels on to 3 crowns at the payline fire it and than something should happen, does this makes sense?
Your help or suggestions are appreciated, regards, henk

I found a video on this issue: Jennings Governor Jackpot in YT and you find a clear view on the mechanism.
