Little Duke reserve and jackpot questions

Postby mtc900 » Mon Dec 23, 2024 1:11 pm

Hi. I'm just beginning to restore a Little Duke my dad purchased decades ago (SN#1515) so I started the disassembly. Right off, I noticed that there is no reserve runway or reserve lever (See below). Assuming these are required parts, where can I find those to purchase? The jackpot window also has a very flexible clear plastic insert. Is this original or, if not, what should be in the window?

I have the Rick Akers book and the recommended Jennings one as well but I don't see these details. This is where I noticed a couple of photos of the reserve details though.

Thanks
Dave

I dont think you have the reserve jackpot model

That makes sense. It's amazing how many variations there are for such a short manufacturing period.

And thanks for the photo references. That will be very helpful.

What is the 'glass' in the jackpot window made out of on your model?

No. That’s all there is. Only the main mechanism has been removed (slid out).

Honestly, although everything goes through the motions as expected, I’ve never seen the jackpot do anything or fill up.

I contacted Rick Akers. He said he would look at the post and see if he can help.

I suggest you get hold of "mechanic" here on the forum. I sold him all of my slot machine parts including a box of nothing but Little Duke parts. Hopefully he'll have the parts you need.
