The machine is on free play, can not see where a coin jam is,. if I put pressure on the chain it will take the nickel and play, then it goes back into free play, can anyone help with this?okay, there is no coin jam, need to know where the screw is to tighten the chain, too much slack in chain

you can loosen or tighten the chain via the bracket on the left escalator chain sprocket (that is left, looking from the back of the mechanism). See attached photo with two bolts holding bracket in place.
