Mills Golden Nugget Possible Timing Problem

Hello.
I recently replaced the clock on this 25 cent Mills Golden Nugget repop.
The machine is working fine but I am not getting my third click......the third reel stops (maybe kind of drifts to a halt) but I don't get that crisp click that I receive on the other two reels.
Is this a timing problem?
If so how do I correct it?
Thanks!

It could be several things that are causing the problem.
Is the clock clean, oiled, and moving smoothly?
Is the Reel brake (if your machine has them) too tight on reel #3?
Are the levers that make up the clock and are connected to the clock moving smoothly and not jammed/obstructed? You can check to see if the #3 Reel Stop Lever is completely going into the Reel Stop Star wheel (inside the reel bundle, showing that the clock is completing its cycle?
Is the machine paying out?

mazzeosa17,
Thanks for your reply and the suggestions.
1) Yes, the clock was oiled before installing it and it is unwinding smoothly
2) As this is a repop no reel brakes are installed
3) When I replaced the clock I cleaned and put fresh grease on all the moving parts of the linkage connected to the clock
4)The #3 Reel Stop Lever is completely engaging the Reel Stop Star wheel
5) Yes, the machine pays out properly
So the slot seems to be working perfectly other than not hearing the third click.
Perhaps nothing to be concerned about??

I'd say if the machine is playing and paying correctly, I wouldn't worry about it.
