Alstate space jet bell reel questions.

Hi all. Recently aquired one of these and currently trying to get the reel to spin correctly. I've cleaned the timing arms and got them moving freely. But when I pull the handle the kicker isn't fully engaging. I can get it to manually fully engage but not when pulling the handle. So first question is how to fix/adjust that. Then any other fine tuning (brakes etc). I've dabbled with more modern machines (bally, sigma etc) but first time really getting into the mechanics of one of these. Thanks! Figured out what the issue was. This little guy was in to far. Now getting ready to oil the reels and if I have any more it's I'll be back.
