Hi everyone,
I am having a new(bie) issue with my key not fitting the jackpot lock of my Mills Black Beauty slot machine. I am attaching 2 photos as I think they are a better display of the problem I am experiencing. It looks like the faceplate of the lock is off center and therefore a piece of metal is blocking the entry of the key. Have you come across this issue before? If so, do you recall how the issue was resolved?

Hello Amy,
I have had like issues with two machines. The problem is that the piece of metal with the slot in it is a press fit into the outer collar. In one machine I had it would actually fall out on occasion and that was remedied with a thin sliver of masking tape trimmed with a razor blade. The other one was like yours and my fix was to take a screwdriver bit that almost exactly fit the key slot, wrap it in a turn of masking tape, barely insert it into slot and gently turn until correctly aligned.
