Delux Mercury 1cent Machine

I posted in arcade a repair question re the above machine. I am adding a photo of the machine. And ideas as how to fix? On the internal mechanism the lever that the bottom screw driver pointed to can be pulled down manually to make it work. Is there a spring missing to make it work? The top screwdriver points to a brass nub, what goes there? Any help will be appreciated

This is a pic of a Liberty mech which appears to have a similar mechanism. you will note the spring between your screwdriver pointers.

Got it working without that spring would it be possible for you to take a picture of the front mechanism and the back it all seems to work now

That was a pic I got from Ebay some time ago. You should be able to get the pic you want from completed listings.
