I found this loose in my Mills 5 cent Black Cherry...was on the bottom of the cabinet in the far lefthand corner by the backdoor (when viewed from rear).

Can someone please tell me what it is/where it goes?

Thanks!

Is it the valve to the handle return pump?

Walter,

Thanks for the reply. If you are referring to the adjustment screw that is in place on this machine. Also that screw is a "normal' one and has a nut on it so the depth of the screw can be adjusted.

But I am likely telling you something you already know! You were probably suggesting somebody may have replaced the original with this non-standard one.

If this is not the case and you are referring to some other part on the handle pump please let me know.

I wasn't sure of what the part was, I was just suggesting it was the valve adjustment due to the location in which you found it.

I was obviously wrong.

Stephane,

Excellent suggestion as my mystery part has the exact same form factor.....but, alas, my mech has the part in place that you singled out .

The mystery part is smaller than your suggestion....the diameter of the part is close to half that of the one you pointed out.

Thanks so much for replying.
