Columbia bell missing parts?

Bought a Columbia Bell hoping to restore it. I’ve had success in other a couple of Jennings before, but this machine appears to be missing a critical part.

The missing part attaches to the coin drop, and extends over the magazine. Currently, almost everything works, but the magazine does not spin correctly, and is not paying out.

Any suggestions on where to locate this part? Is it crucial to operation?

Thanks!

THE PART THAT THE YELLOW ARROW POINTS TO IS THE MAGAZINE COVER. IT'S TO KEEP THE COINS FROM JUMPING BUT IS OFTEN MISSING.

The machine is definitely missing the magazine cover, but it is the part circled in yellow that I am concerned with.
