This machine I have offered to help fix. He says it spins and stops, but it won't accept coins or pay out.

Anyone know what that might be? I can get pictures of the mechanisms if you need any. Thanks

His exact words: " It is working and stopping as designed, but will not take coins or pay"...

I have not. The owner is pretty old so I'm not sure if I will be able to get a video.

If it sounds like the arms or pay slides need to be cleaned, or your 90% sure its something a mechanicly inclined person can fix, I can have him send it to me and I will be able top post clear videos on Youtube.

I cannot see the escalator at the top and the mech appears to a repo mechanism. That could be your problem . Repo mech are not very dependable.
