Usually there is a screw on the left and right hand side of the coin entry that screws into a wood block. A third screw is in the bottom center of the board the mech is attached to. It’s that silver slotted hex head on the bottom center of the board. Should be a round head wood screw.

Hi George, Thank You. Did what you said Came right out. I know why the wheel does not spin, this roll pin fell out when I took out the mech. I can't seem to locate where it goes. The main gear gear where the wheel goes into also fell off, I'm assuming the wheel shaft is what supports the gear. Again any help is appreciated. Thanks Paul

I figured it out and the shaft from the award wheel goes through 3 openings, and the roll pin insert into the main gear, only problem is trying to line up the correct number to the payouts.

Does anyone have any pictures of the mechanism for a Ben Hur or a diagram. I can't seem to figure how the wheel connects. There was a roll pin that fell out and I thought it went all the way through to the main gear, but it can't because the wheel will not spin. Any pic or answers would help. Here are a few pic. The brown is a pointer where the hole is for the main gear, the otheres are just random, to see if I'm missin something.. Thanks

Found a pic from Morphys Auction, it help with figuring out what needs to go where. Very surprised with collectors on this site with 50+ yrs experience and no responses.

I have a fair amount of experience with older mechanical slots, however, because I am totally unfamiliar with your machine, I did not respond. That is likely the case with a number of people on this forum.

The correct spelling is Caille not Callie.

Thanks Fred and yes I understand because of its age not many members have any info, other than wasting time by replying on omitting a letter but thanks I will continue to keep looking for info on Ben Hur CAILLE.

Hello, I would like to give those that took the time to help me with the mechanics of my Ben Hur a thank you, not like some that waste your time to correct your spelling! Mostly a special thanks to Stephane, a member from France that took time and patience, to help me get the machine up and running perfectly. TY
