I have a mills QT chevron and have a issue keeping nickel in place at the window it just falls down to the payout tube. Is there a spring needed to keep nickel in place?

If I already addressed this on a Facebook thread I apologize. If you have the correct lever on the back of the coin head (different shape for 1 & 5 cent machines) and it has a spring attached then the issue is that the lever may be slightly bent or might need to be adjusted (filed a touch) to hold the nickel in place. In any case the coin head will have to be removed to make the adjustment. I also assume that the coin sensing pin is actually present and coming through the hole when the machine is cycled.

Spring is there, lever looks ok, and coin pin works.
I will take a closer look when I have time.

Thanks

Found the problem the bottom tip of the spring lever that catches the coin has been filed down. :x
Other than that machine plays and pays as it should.
