Mills Lion Head Machine

Postby 63mini » Sun May 05, 2024 6:57 am

I have a friend who would like me to go see a Mills Lion Head machine next week. I have attached a photo below. Unfortunately, this is the only picture I have.

As I know these castings were reproduced. My question would be what the red flags for this machine? The castings should have the MLB and there should be a serial number on the upper casting. What about the mech? It is a 25¢ which is a large denomination for 1932 or so.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Seems to be a nice original in my opinion. Would be nice to be able to see a serial number to be sure.

Well, just a follow up. It was a created machine. There was no serial number and the castings had slight imperfections. However, it did have the MLB part# on them. My friend did purchase it at a "fair" price because he liked it. Thanks to jmisatu for your reply.
