Question about stuck coin Mills

Postby Backman » Sat Aug 31, 2024 6:08 am

Hello from Sweden.
I'm in the process of trying to restore my Mills slot machine, but as a true amateur when it comes to these kind of machines, I'm having a bit of trouble due to the coin getting stuck. I have no idea how it is supposed to look but it feels like the "arm" that is supposed to lock the coin in place is pushed to far forward beforehand and the coin gets stuck when you pull the handle and the coin is supposed to get pushed down. Everything else works great, this is the only issue with the machinery.

I've noticed the "arm" is in a bent shape, is it supposed to be straight? Or is it anything else? The springs connected to the "arm" looks fine.

Well I'm apparently blind. I just loosened the screw the arm is fastened with and pulled the arm a bit backwards and it solved it.
