ok did you try to add a thin washer/.015 shim in between the plate to add some clearance, also be careful buying the cover plate because the round coin entry riser may be too tall to accommodate your escalator

I am really glad that you suggested that, thank you so much. I will first put the shim in and see if that solves the problem.

Awesome news, the escalator jamb is resolved, just like Bally Bill instructed me to install shims. Smooth as snot, never once did it jamb in the drop area! =D> =D> =D>

I really like to keep it original, so this is the best outcome for me.
Again thanks for the help.

So, in my posts I sourced a really nice back door. It was to tall for my machine. Well, the seller sent me another back door and it was truly disappointing to me, the door was damaged from someone trying to pry it off of a slot machine. The seller sprayed paint on it covering up the rust on the door. I spent several hours working on getting it straight, repairing, repainting it. I finally got it looking good.

I wouldn't have minded having this door, if it wasn't so expensive since I ordered the other door I paid a lot of $$$$$. I will post the picture of the door after the paint dries.

So, I am finished with the back door. I gave it 2 coats of paint, waited a day to dry 100%, then buffed it down.

This is the end result.

My problem is the #3 reel. When the lever drops, the 3rd wheel will not seat completely in the reel stop star. It is spinning slowly and the lever drops and stops the #3 reel.

Hello David, Here is suggestions below
1.make sure that the reel brake wire is adjusted correctly,
2.reel bundle shaft is seated properly in frame assembly
3.look at your timing fan and bend fins to increase/decrease speed.
4.cycle mechanism and stop timing fan midway so you can check the reels to ensure they are not dragging somewhere.
