Yeah, the only issue is the handle won't pull every so often. Any suggestions?

The first thing I would check is the coin detector mechanism: watch where the quarter falls after going into the coin entry slot, and look for the rod that hits the coin as you pull the handle... if it's bent or pushed backwards just a little, it might be sometimes causing the handle to lock-up as if there was no coin there. There might be a screw holding that rod in position, so you can adjust it. Not saying this is your problem (I'm not clairvoyant), but I have run into that problem before.

I read here that you're planning to thoroughly clean-up and properly lube the mechanism sometime in the future; I think that's a good idea, especially since you also indicate that you used a lot of WD-40, which unfortunately attracts a lot of dust and debris and gets sticky over time. I hope you'll look into that. And welcome to the insanity!

I just ran into the same problem on a Mills machine. It was also a hightop. What I found was in the escalator after a successful cycle the escalator had not retracted completely to his rest position. I took the escalator out, lubed it and put it back in and it works fine. You might give that a try. Good luck. Let me know if that helps Charlie.

Do you mean just old modern quarters or SILVER quarters dated 1964 and before? If so, those are worth a minimum of about $7 each... that's EACH.
