Mills Extraordinary need help

Just acquired a Mill Extraordinary on 1d play ( I’m in the UK)
I want to refurbish it, any help please
The reward card and instructions are not original or wrong
The coin display on the front are blanked off
There is a serial number stamped on the front casting ( 354726 )
It works without putting money in, pays out the correct amount

Hi,

The machine originally would likely run on a smaller coin sixpence or shilling.

The coins would have been inserted behind where the x1d badge is now.

The coin denominator badge would have been attached on right side, where coin entry is now.

The blanked off window at top is where the coin escalator would have sat. The escalator would

have moved coins from coinnentry on left to mechanismcoin tube on right side of machine.

Where the grey blanked out area is now,mit would have had a glass window to show last x5 coins played.

The lower blanked off windows is where the jackpot mechanism would have sat behind.

You need to determine how you want to proceed as that will determine what parts you would need.

Alternatively, just keep as is and fix the no coin required issue

The playing with no coins issue is likely a simple issue to fix..

Thank you Madmelons, for the information, very interesting.
I think what I would like to do with the machine :
Replace the instructions label with a plate with the Eagle on it.
Paint the front casting the same colour as the eagle.
New reward card, the existing one has been over written.
The display windows, I would open up and put coins behind the glass.
Just for info I have a number of mint sealed 1d & 1/2d bags of uncirculated coins which I would lacquer and place behind the glass.
I have also just sent for a 1933 penny (copy) which will be the centre piece of the display.
