Hi all. I just got my first QT,and the starting lever keeps binding after a play...it will not reset to normal position. Is it the spring on the small part behind it? I took some pictures...any help much appreciated

That thing you call the small part should swing out of the way to allow it to reset. It may some oil or maybe a different spring. Make sure it moves freely.
