Hello all,
I'm new to the slot machine world and have purchased a Mills 5 cent machine. The payout always seems to be correct when I hit something that should pay. The problem I'm having is it also pays out on combinations that it shouldn't. For example if I hit Bell-Bell-Orange it pays 10 coins every time. I'm looking for some guidance or someone in the Wisconsin area that may be able to help me straighten it out.

Hi Luther816,
I for sure am no expert on Slot Machines.
However, I wonder if the reel strips have been replaced with newer strips that do not match the original strips?
Love Jim Kelley's Nugget as I just drove by the Tahoe North Shore location of that Casino.
Hopefully Monti or someone more qualified can help you.

Sorry can’t help with the payout issue, but generally a good clean and oil goes a long ways in these ol machines.
I’ve got a Jim Kelly’s glass from a machine would look great framed and hanging on a wall. $75 plus shipping & handling

I agree with Will that the reel strips could have been replaced with ones that didn't match the originals!
The reel strips should have the symbol from Jim Kelley's Nugget, either the Crystal Bay location in North Tahoe or his Reno location where the three Bars would have been!
Can't tell from the photo as no jackpot symbols show on the reel strips!
I have had many of Jim Kelley's open front Mills Bell-O-Matic slot machines go thru my shop and none I saw had what was referred to as "Mystery Pays" and would have usually been designated by "Watch For Mystery Pays" on the lower display!
Bona Fortuna!
