It probably came out of an Eagles Club. There is probably a "D" on one of the symbols on the first reel and on "O" on the 2nd reel.
I suspect you got a special jackpot if you spelled "D O E".

That makes sense because the book says the Club Royale was made for the new casinos in Vegas and for private clubs, very interesting.
