I have had this machine all my life. It was part of my dad’s collection and was left to me. It is all original and in great working order.
I do not know anything about it. What year / decade it is from, commonality or rarity, or how to find the serial number.

I did find a number stamped into the wood base but I doubt that is the S/N.

I’m not looking to sell it (any place I try to learn about it wants to know if I’ll sell it). But I would like to know what I have here. All of his others were poinsettias, Pace, or best pockets. This one was on its own with no like machines of different currencies.

Yes that is the Sn in the wood but could als be stamped in the case somewhere. I have a similar machine in a .50 denomination.

coinopregistry.com can give you an approximate time frame for your Mills slot. It looks like it was produced in late 1948 or 1949 at a time when Mills was producing large numbers of High Top slots.
