It is believed roughly 50,000 Mills vest pockets were made which Is a lot.

Personal the most uncommon ones in my view are

Mills vest pocket with the Vally sub jackpot base
Mills vest pocket with a 70 reward card, I've only seen a handful of these.
But I personally think the most uncommon is the mills cigarette vest pocket.

Does anyone have Any of the uncommon vest pockets? If so I'll love to see photos

Who made the aftermarket jackpot? I've seen these on eBay time to time.

Yes, Vest Pockets with cigarette tape are very rare. Here's hard to find one I have. Quarter Chrome V.P. with jackpot base. These jackpots could be added on and we're after market made by Valley Specialty Co in Rochester, N.Y.

Not seen a 25c in a while

The black and red JP base shown above appears to be an original Valley base made for operators with slots in use on location.

The plain wood base shown above, however, if my memory is correct, was made much later by a collector/dealer for other collectors who wanted one for their VPs (not for actual operators back in the day).
Does anyone else remember them being sold at the Chicago show or knows who made them?

The original Valley Specialty jackpot bases would slide forward when a j'pot hit and dump its contents. The dark wooden repro jackpot bases that some collector made up required a key on the right side of the base to open up the drawer because it didn't occur automatically.
