Greetings,

I just picked up this machine. Looks like it’s called a Turomal?

There is a transformer stepping up the 110v to 220.

When I manually hit the coin-in switch, reels spin, looks functional.

What coins are needed? How is the game played?

Inside is similar to a Bally EM, but the 220v is intimidating.

I've seen these machines before - think it's actually called a Touramat. I saw them when I lived in Europe in the 1990's. Per the insignia on the game, it apparently works on the old Deutschmark coins, which is pre-Euro's. Euro's started in 1999. It looks like it takes one Deutschmark, as well as the 50 pfennig (like 50 cent, which is half a Deutschmark) and 10 pfennig coins. I think you put the coins in and push the buttons to start and stop the three reels, but others with more experience than me can probably provide more information.

I read „Touromat“

The machine works with Deutsche Mark coins, the currency in Germany before the introduction of the euro.
The text on the coin slot says:
Money changer
Throw-in
DM 1.00 1 game and DM 0.90 back
DM 0.50 1 game and DM 0.40 back
DM 0.10 1 game

So the machine should accept 1 DM, 50 Pfennig and 10 Pfennig coins. If you insert 1 DM or 50 pfennig coins, the machine would have to give out change accordingly.
