Mills 10c paying out one short

Hey folks,

Troubleshooting the last issue with my new-to-me Mills Castle Front. It seems that payouts from 10 and up always pay out one short. The two cherries (3) and two cherries with bell or lemon (5) pay out accurately, but oranges are 9 instead of 10, etc.

Any thoughts on what could be the cause of this? I've looked at the payout slides and they seem fine.

Are the payout slides supposed to be as thick as the number of coins they pay out?

Thanks!

Nothing wrong with your machine. New coins are different thickness that older coins. this is very common. Just live with it.....no other choice...except use older coins!

I wondered if this may be the case. Thanks!
