repair for Mills Operator Bell
Hi,
I have a 1928 Mills Operator Bell with a Pace conversion front, right now I am fixing the cabinet. The previous owner did a terrible job fixing it. I am undoing his so-called repair... Under the machine are missing two strips of wood that the machine sits on... I am stuck making new ones... Does anyone know the dimensions of the two strips and what kind of wood is it? Is it oak like the rest of the cabinet? Was the two strips glued nailed or screwed onto the bottom of the cabinet? Thank you...
