Mills Black Cherry

Postby Wally » Thu Mar 17, 2022 8:39 pm

Hello I am very new to slots. I just purchased a 25c Mills Black Cherry machine. The machine plays very good. The wife has a problem pulling the handle. The last part of the pull is very hard. Is there any adjustment to the tension at the last part of the pull. Thanks for any help. I have really enjoyed reading the posts.

The mech timing could be slightly off as well and also the mech could be in need of cleaning as well as a timing adjustment!
While changing the handle to a casino style handle will help as that is what they did in the casinos so "The Little Old Ladies" playing their bucket of nickles would not stop playing because their right arm got tired or sore but if it has the original from factory handle for value the original handle should be kept on the slot machine to maintain resale value!
Enjoy The Hobby!

Shorting the pin helped. How do you know when the timing is right. Will reducing the tension on the main spring help also. Thanks so very much to ALL.
