Private Shipper Needed

Can anyone recommend one or two good private shippers. We ship coin op machines from North to South and East Coast to the West Coast. We had two damaged machines recently using Fed Ex. One of the machines was boxed by Fed Ex. The second was boxed by Craters and Freighters. Both boxes were mishandled, crushed, dropped and tossed around.
Your help is appreciated.

I had a machine shipped air freight a number of years ago from Florida to me in Los Angeles with great success. It was terminal to terminal and not door to door. I had to go to LAX to pick it up. The advantage with air freight if it is a direct flight, is that it is only handled once to put in on the plane and once taking it off.

Friend of mine just got a quote from Uship for shipping 2 machines from California to Georgia, quote was $1400.

UShip is like the reverse of Ebay, and shippers bid to win business from you. I had a high quote like that too, and I also had one for $350 to ship a slot from Vegas to WI. You just need to be patient. FInd someone already coming that way that will add it to their shipment.

Try to use a trucking company and box and strap the slot on a pallet.
