Converting a Jennings from UK coin to US coin

Hi,

I am based in the UK and I am looking to buy a Jennings Governor which plays on an English 5p. In order to convert it back to a US 5 cent coin will I need to change all the slides, escalator etc etc?.

The 5p is similar in size to a 5c.

I know that I can get replacement award cards from searching the web.
